THATCHER — Eastern Arizona College is proud to present Spring Sing on April 26, and 28, at 7:30 p.m., and April 29, at 1 and 7:30 p.m. All shows will be presented in the Fine Arts Auditorium. There will be four different performances, each with a unique theme and style, to feature diverse aspects of the music program.

Wednesday’s performance, titled “Gloria,” features the community Symphonic Choir, Gila Valley Jazz Singers, A Cappella Choir, and Resonus. There will also be a special guest organist to showcase the College’s new organ. Dr. Andrew Lloyd, a music professor at the University of Texas at San Antonio, will perform several organ selections.

Friday’s performance “Luminous Night” will be a more traditional choral show featuring the GilaSoul Singers, Resonus, and A Cappella Choir.

Saturday’s performances will include a 1 p.m. matinee and a 7:30 p.m. evening performance. The matinee will feature Encore and the Gila Valley Children’s Chorale.

The final show on Saturday evening, “Choral Showcase,” features combined EAC choirs.

There will be something for everyone this Spring Sing, as EAC’s choirs share various music and singing styles.

Admission is $5 per person and tickets are available at www.eac.edu.
