GRAHAM COUNTY – The Arizona Department of Public Safety is investigating a fatal collision on Highway 191 North. The collision occurred at 4:48 a.m. at about milepost 136, which is on a portion of the highway known as “The Straight”, and involved a small sedan and semi.
According to DPS Media Specialist Bart Graves, the semi was northbound on U.S. 191 when it was rear-ended by a sedan. The driver of the sedan, identified as Joshua Robert Bills, 42, of Safford, was deceased at the scene. The driver of the semi was not injured. The Graham County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene as well.
The collision is still under investigation.
