DPS continues to make large hard drug busts

PHOENIX – A two-day investigation by Arizona Department of Public Safety detectives centering on individuals trafficking large quantities of methamphetamine and fentanyl pills resulted in three arrests on Thursday, Aug. 19.

Detectives believe all three suspects are career criminals. Two of the arrested subjects are documented gang members, both on probation, and the third was identified as a gang associate who had five outstanding felony warrants for her arrest for similar crimes.

Following the arrest of the suspects, a residential search warrant was served, leading to the seizure of 87.6 pounds of methamphetamine, 4,450 fentanyl pills along with a handgun and two vehicles.
