Staff Reports

SAFFORD – The city of Safford will begin planned electrical service upgrades to the Downtown Safford area beginning Jan. 27.

During the upgrades, there will be limited service interruptions as existing equipment is replaced. Outages are expected to last hours and will reportedly take place after normal business operating hours as much as possible.

The contractor should advise individual businesses of the upcoming outages, and most of the work will be in the service alleys between Central Avenue and 8th Avenue both north and south of Main Street.
