Dorothy Stinson Elementary School seeks book donations

Dorothy Stinson Elementary School is holding a Scholastic Book Fair until Friday, Oct. 15, to replace more than 600 books lost in a recent storm.

SAFFORD – The Dorothy Stinson Elementary School is seeking the public’s assistance in replacing books lost in a freak storm. 

The school’s library lost more than 600 books during the micro-burst hailstorm roughly a month ago. It is currently holding a Scholastic Book Fair until Friday, Oct. 15, where books can be purchased or donations can be made toward the purchase of new books to replace the damaged ones. 

Those who do not have students at the school can stop by the school office and donate directly to the library for the purchase of new books.
