THATCHER – Today is the day to register for the new season of classes at DeKeuster’s Gymnastics. The crew is gearing up for a new season of classes with a new owner and it all starts with registration beginning today, Monday, Aug. 1.
The gym is located at 2281 Suite E in the Thatcher Plaza, but online registrations can be made by clicking here.
DeKeuster’s Gymnastics was founded in the Gila Valley about 40 years ago by Jo DeKeuster in the Fort Thomas cafeteria. Since then, it has continued to serve the children of the Gila Valley, giving them an active opportunity to learn, set goals, and gain strength.
Heidi Morris followed Jo, and owned and coached at DeKeuster’s for about 20 years. And, most recently, Sarah McDougal took over the reins in January as the new owner/coach.
Sarah learned gymnastics from Heidi for eight years and coached alongside her for 11 more. She plans to keep the traditions of DeKeuster’s Gymnastics alive while growing the business even more to provide additional opportunities for growth and improvement for all of Eastern Arizona’s gymnasts.
