SAFFORD – A cement truck rolled onto its side Tuesday morning, apparently while negotiating the turn at Discovery Park Boulevard and 20th Avenue.
The picture above was taken at about 8:35 a.m. and shows the rolled-over truck partially blocking the southbound lane of 20th Avenue, just before the intersection with Discovery Park Boulevard, with the rest of the truck lying on its side on the shoulder of the road.
As of 10:35 a.m., officers were still working the scene, according to an administrative assistant with the Safford Police Department.
