Safford Light Parade is Saturday, December 7

PIMA – Come join in the merriment of the holiday season in Pima on Friday, Dec. 6 for the town’s 3rd annual Tree Lighting ceremony at Heritage Park, (next to the Pima Fire Department) starting at 5:30 p.m.
There will be live entertainment and free hot chocolate and cookies. The town invites attendees to bring a crockpot meal or soup to share.
Also, there will be a special visit from a certain jolly old elf from up north. That’s right, Santa Claus will be there to listen to children’s wishes and have his picture taken with them.
So, bring the family out for a small-town good time at Pima’s 3rd annual Tree Lighting ceremony on Friday, Dec. 6, starting at 5:30 p.m. at Heritage Park.
Light Parade
On Saturday, Dec. 7, head to Downtown Safford for the 22nd annual Country Financial Light Parade.
Santa Claus will be at the Safford Theatre from 4-6 p.m. and there will be entertainment beginning at 5 p.m. at 5th Avenue and Main Street. The entertainment will include the Safford Dance Academy, Gila Valley Cheer, and Safford Karate.
The Light Parade will start at 6 p.m. and will make its way down Main Street.
