Fun Shoot to be held Sunday

MOUNT GRAHAM – Beat the heat Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 10 – 11, and participate in C&A Archery’s inaugural Mount Graham Archery Shootout at Upper Hospital Flats on Mount Graham.
The event will feature two, 15-target courses of 3-D targets with scoring rings. For class information and rules, click here. The event will open at 6 a.m. for practice butts and registration, with flights beginning at 8 a.m.
The competition shoot will be held Saturday and a fun shoot will be on Sunday. There will be plaque awards for first, second, and third place in each division in the competition shoot. Click here to review the various divisions and rules. Standard IBO rules will apply with no speed restriction.
Entry fees for the competition shoot are $10 for youth 12 and under, $20 for teens 13 – 17, and $30 for adults. Add $5 per each competitor to also participate in the Fun Shoot on Sunday.
Entry fees for just the Fun Shoot for those not entering the competition shoot are $5 for youth 12 and under, $10 for teens 13 – 17, and $20 for adults.
Pre-register at C&A Archery or by calling owner/operator Chad Bailey at 928-322-2739. And remember to bring your rain gear in case Mother Nature decides to let loose as well. Attendees can also register the day of the event prior to 8 a.m.
