GRAHAM COUNTY – The Graham County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a deceased body found north of the old Geronimo store just east of the San Carlos Apache Reservation.
Law enforcement, including the Thatcher Police Department and San Carlos Apache Police Department, responded with the Sheriff’s Office to the area at about 1:52 p.m. when the body was discovered.
The deceased appears to be a male, according to a Sheriff’s Office news release, and there were no apparent or visual signs of the cause of death.
An autopsy by the Pima County Office of Medical Examiner has been scheduled. The body has not been identified at this time, and the investigation is ongoing.
