The Safford City-Graham County Library is pleased to host the art of Christine Hartzler.

Christine was raised in Southern Arizona, specifically, in the Bisbee/Douglas area. During her childhood, she was privileged to live in Arizona, Idaho, New Mexico, and Colorado. She has enjoyed traveling, painting and photographing this beautiful and spectacular world God has created. Her love of desert scenery is clearly captured in the beautifully detailed oils currently on display in the library.

This art installation will be available for view through December. Christine Hartzler is the second artist featured at the library this year.

“We live in an area that is very fortunate to be home to many talented artists,” said Library Supervisor Lesley Talley. “The library hopes to offer several shows of art from local talent over the next year, including art made in the library by our patrons”.

Other upcoming events include a fan art competition in conjunction with Safford LibraryCon. The public is invited to stop by and enjoy the art and find out what else the Safford City Library offers.
