Gila Valley Leadership is a year-long, civic leadership training and networking program. Participants can expect to tour and understand our communities, agriculture, commercial, communications, cultural, education, healthcare, natural, political, public safety, social, and utility systems. They will meet together for one full day a month from August 2024 to May 2025 and be officially inducted into the Gila Valley Leadership Association in June 2025. The full schedule is available in the application.

Gila Valley Leadership is the premier civic leadership program for employers looking to enhance their employees’ professionalism, expand their invaluable networks, and integrate their organization into the fabric of our community. It is a fantastic program for both employees who are new to Graham County and those whose families have lived and worked here for generations. Our inductees boast Eastern Arizona College President Todd Haynie and many current elected officials and business community leaders.

The program is organized in partnership with the Graham County Chamber of Commerce, City of Safford, Graham County, and Eastern Arizona College, with the generous support of numerous businesses and organizations in the Gila Valley.
