Staff Reports

THATCHER – Join the American Red Cross (ARC) at Eastern Arizona College (EAC) to participate in what has been the largest ARC blood drive in Arizona.

We have held the record for the largest American Red Cross Blood Drive over the last few years and we want it to stay that way but we can’t do it without you! If you haven’t already signed up, please consider doing so and bring a friend to help us break our record to collect more than 200 pints of blood. All donors at this drive will get a free American Red Cross T-shirt!

The drive will take place at EAC’s Gherald L. Hoopes Jr. Activities Center Dining Hall at 615 N. Stadium Ave. on Thursday, Nov. 7, from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

The need for blood is constant and only volunteer donors can fulfill that need for patients in our community. Nationwide, someone needs a unit of blood every 2 to 3 seconds and most of us will need blood in our lifetime.

Thank you for supporting the American Red Cross blood program.

Download the Red Cross Blood Donor App on the App StoreGoogle Play or text BLOODAPP to 90999.

Schedule appointments, view your blood type and results of your mini-physical and track your donations. Or visit RedCrossBlood.org and enter EAC or call 1-800-Red Cross to schedule an appointment.
