GLOBE – The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers traveling in Globe to plan for the following lane restrictions on U.S. Highway 60, between Santee Street and U.S. Highway 70 (mileposts 250-252), as work restarts on the pavement rehabilitation project:

  • East- and westbound lane restrictions nightly from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday, April 19, through Friday, May 1.
  • The speed limit will be reduced to 25 mph in the work zone.

The restrictions are needed for milling and paving work.

Drivers should allow extra travel time, use caution, be prepared to slow down, and merge safely when approaching and traveling through all work zones.

Schedules are subject to change due to weather and other unforeseen circumstances.
