SAFFORD – Graham County is gearing up for an exciting evening of glamour, fun, and giving back! The MGRMC Foundation, in partnership with the United Way of Graham and Greenlee Counties, proudly presents the inaugural Casino Night – Casino Royale, a glamorous fundraiser set for Friday, May 1, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the historic Safford Downtown Theatre.
This one-of-a-kind event transforms the iconic venue into a sophisticated casino-inspired experience, complete with thrilling casino-style games, exciting raffle prizes, entertainment, and nonstop excitement—all without actual gambling. Guests will enjoy the thrill of the tables, complimentary chips, drink tickets (based on sponsorship level), and a chance to win big while supporting a vital cause: funding the construction of Mt. Graham Regional Medical Center’s (MGRMC) new Emergency Room.
The new ER project represents a major step forward for healthcare in the Gila Valley. Plans include expanding the emergency department from 17 to 25 bays to reduce wait times and better serve Level 4 trauma and emergent needs with state-of-the-art technology and facilities. This lifesaving upgrade will bring critical, high-quality care closer to home for families across the region, ensuring faster response times and enhanced emergency services at the only hospital serving Graham and Greenlee counties.
Over the years, generous donor support through the MGRMC Foundation has made incredible impacts, including upgraded patient rooms, new OB birthing beds, more than 45 nursing scholarships, nearly $1 million for the Cancer Center, and the new Cardiac Catheterization Lab. The United Way of Graham and Greenlee Counties, a trusted partner since 1978, has long championed local education, health, and economic stability. Together, these organizations are uniting the community to strengthen accessible, community-owned healthcare for all.

- High Roller – $5,000 (tax-deductible): Entry for 8 guests, $1,500 in chips per guest, exclusive company name on a card table, social media and MC recognition, logo on chip voucher, and 16 drink tickets.
- Black Jack Boss – $3,000 (tax-deductible): Entry for 4 guests, $1,000 in chips per guest, social media recognition, name/logo on tally voucher, and 8 drink tickets.
