THATCHER — The EA Chamber Orchestra will present “In the Spotlight!”, a concert designed to highlight orchestra students, at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11, at the Lee Little Theater.
Admission is free, and the community is invited to attend.
“In the Spotlight!” will feature student musicians in a concert setting that showcases their talent, musical growth, and performance experience through EA’s chamber orchestra program.
“This concert is truly about the title — putting our students in the spotlight and letting them shine,” said Franklin Alvarez, EA professor of music and director of orchestras. “What makes EA special is that our fine arts students are performing on stage in their first semester. At many universities, students may not have that opportunity until their junior year. At EA, we believe in giving students real experience right away, and this concert is a chance for our community to see what they can do.”
