EAC Children’s Theatre to present Disney’s 101 Dalmatians Kids

Eastern Arizona College’s Children’s Theatre will bring Disney’s 101 Dalmatians Kids to the stage Oct. 27–Nov. 1, in the Activities Center–Lee Little Theater.

THATCHER — Eastern Arizona College’s Children’s Theatre will bring Disney’s 101 Dalmatians Kids to the stage Oct. 27–Nov. 1, in the Activities Center–Lee Little Theater.

Based on the beloved Disney animated film, this fur-raising adventure features Cruella De Vil, one of Disney’s most outrageous villains, and 101 of the most adorable heroes ever to set their paws onstage. Roger and Anita live happily in London with their devoted Dalmatians, Pongo and Perdita, and their puppies—until Cruella hatches a plan to turn the pups into a fur coat. The Dalmatians rally all the dogs of London for a daring rescue in this fast-paced, heartwarming story filled with lively music, humor, and unforgettable characters.

Performances are divided into two casts.

·         Cast 1 will perform Monday, Oct. 27, at 6:30 p.m.; Wednesday, Oct. 29, at 6:30 p.m.; and Saturday, Nov. 1, at 1 p.m.

· Cast 2 will perform Tuesday, Oct. 28, at 6:30 p.m.; Thursday, Oct. 30, at 6:30 p.m.; and Saturday, Nov. 1, at 5 p.m.

There will be no performance on Friday, Oct. 31, in observance of Halloween.

Eastern Arizona College’s Fine Arts Division offers both Children’s Theatre and Youth Theatre programs, giving young performers the chance to bring a story to life onstage each semester. These programs nurture creativity, teamwork, and performance skills in a fun, supportive environment.
