THATCHER – The town of Thatcher has advised the closure of 8th Street from 20th Avenue to First Avenue from Monday, Jan. 27 through Saturday, Feb. 1.
The closure is part of the $4.77 million 8th Street widening project, adding a third lane, curb, and sidewalk on both sides. The state has allocated $4.5 million to the project.
According to a notice from the town of Thatcher, construction on 8th Street between First Avenue and 20th Avenue will cause delays for the next six months.
