U.S. Highway 60 closed between Superior and Miami due to flooding

SUPERIOR/MIAMI – U.S. Highway 60 is closed in both directions between Superior and Miami, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

The closure is between mileposts 226-244 due to flooding on the roadway.

Motorists are advised to expect delays and seek an alternate route. 

There is no estimated time to reopen the highway.

The San Carlos Apache Tribe also announced that the San Carlos Bridge was closed as well.
