FORT THOMAS – To the victors come the spoils, and the 1A Boys State Champion Fort Thomas Apaches were well represented when the 1A East Region recognitions were released. Head coach Matthew Dona was named Region Coach of the Year, Channing Wilson was named Region Defensive Player of the Year, and Damarae Dosela, fresh off of being named MVP of the state championship game, was named Region Player of the Year.
