SAFFORD — The Safford Police Department invites local teens to apply for its upcoming Teen Academy, a five-day program that offers a hands-on introduction to law enforcement and leadership development. The academy will take place June 1–5 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Safford Police Department.
Participants will gain an inside look at police work through interactive activities and real-world demonstrations. The program focuses on building leadership skills, fostering positive relationships between youth and law enforcement, and offering a behind-the-scenes perspective on officers’ responsibilities.
Space is limited, and interested teens must apply in person at the Safford Police Department. The deadline to submit applications is May 22.
The Safford Police Department encourages teens who are curious about law enforcement, interested in leadership opportunities, or looking for a unique summer experience to apply.
For more information, please contact the Safford Police Department at 928-432-4100 or visit in person to pick up an application.
