SAFFORD — Get ready to dust off those letterman jackets and unleash your Bulldog spirit! Safford High School is rolling out the red carpet for its All Bulldog Reunion on Friday, Sept. 26, and Saturday, Sept. 27, promising a weekend packed with memories, laughter, and good ol’ school pride.

Kick things off on Friday at the SHS Small Gym, where the Memorabilia Room and Silent Auction will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Stroll down memory lane as you browse treasures from Safford High’s storied past—think yearbooks, vintage gear, and maybe even that trophy from the time the Bulldogs ruled the field. Bid on a piece of history to take home, but don’t get too lost in nostalgia; patas de gallo—there’s a game to catch!

Speaking of the game, fuel up for the big night with food trucks parked on the south side of SHS from 4 to 7:30 p.m. (or until they sell out). Grab some tasty grub before cheering on the Bulldogs against the San Tan Sabercats at the homecoming game, kicking off at 7 p.m. Don’t forget to scan the flyer’s QR code for tickets—card only, no cash, so leave those coins at home!

Saturday morning starts with a bang at 9 a.m. with the All-Bulldog Reunion Parade. The procession will march from SHS, winding through town along 14th Avenue, 10th Street, 10th Avenue, and Relation Street, before looping back to 14th Avenue. Expect floats, cheers, and plenty of Bulldog pride. Afterward, the Memorabilia Room and Silent Auction reopen from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for more memory-lane magic.

At 10:30 a.m., the Norma Bellamy Gymnasium will host a pep assembly to get everyone hyped. Then, at 2 p.m., head to the David M. Player Center for the Arts for a special video showcasing 110 years of Safford High’s greatest hits—complete with iconic scenes and tunes that’ll have you singing along.

Classmates are encouraged to organize their own meetups throughout the day, so rally your old crew for some catch-up time. And when the reunion wraps up, keep the party going at Safford’s SalsaFest Downtown, where the food, music, and vibes will keep the Bulldog spirit alive.

So, whether you’re a proud alum from decades past or a recent grad, come celebrate the legacy of Safford High School. It’s a weekend of Bulldog pride you won’t want to miss!
