SAFFORD – David Wells, 43, of Safford is missing and his family hopes the public can help locate him.

According to a press release from the Graham County Sheriff’s Office, Wells’ family said he left a note advising he was going to see his father and be gone a few days. After not hearing from him for four days, relatives called the authorities on Nov. 1 and reported Wells missing.

Wells’ cell phone showed a last location on Oct. 30 at about 10:44 p.m. between Willcox and Benson, however, the Cochise County Sheriff’s Office had no reports of Wells being in any accident or incident, and an aerial search yielded no results.

A witness reported seeing Wells at their home on Oct. 31 at about noon but has not heard from him since.

Wells is described as a Caucasian male, 6’3″ tall and weighing about 160 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.

If anyone has information about the current whereabouts or has had contact with David Wells at any time in late October or beyond they are asked to contact the Graham County Sheriff’s Office at (928) 428-3141.
