GOLD CANYON – As the highly anticipated 38th Annual Arizona Renaissance Festival prepares to open its gates on Jan. 31, excitement is building not just for visitors, but for those eager to become part of the magic behind the scenes. The festival is calling all adventurous souls to a special Job Fair on Sunday, Jan. 18, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the festival grounds in the Feast Hall.
Located at 12601 East U.S. Highway 60 in Gold Canyon, Arizona, this in-person event offers a unique opportunity to step into a world of medieval merriment. Successful applicants could find themselves hawking massive turkey legs and frothy ale, selling admission tickets, warmly greeting guests, directing parking, maintaining sanitation, and more – all while immersed in the lively atmosphere of one of Arizona’s most beloved traditions.
The Arizona Renaissance Festival, running weekends (Saturdays and Sundays, plus Presidents’ Day Monday) from Jan. 31 through March 29, 2026, transforms 50 acres into a vibrant 16th-century village complete with jousting knights, comedic performers on 16 stages, artisan marketplaces, and endless feasting. It’s a rain-or-shine extravaganza that draws thousands for themed weekends, including Pirates Invasion and Brew Fest – and now, they’re hiring the enthusiastic team to make it all happen.
Applicants should be prepared to provide documents demonstrating eligibility to work in the United States if offered a position. Required forms of ID include a valid driver’s license, state ID, passport, Social Security card, original or certified birth certificate, green card, or work visa. For those under 18, alternatives like a school ID, report card, or medical record will suffice.
Resumes are welcome but not mandatory for most roles, making this an accessible entry point for seasonal work in a fun, energetic environment.

Whether you’re a history buff, a people person, or love the thrill of festival life, this could be your chance to trade the ordinary for the extraordinary. Questions? Reach out to Laura@renfestinfo.com or royalfaires.ap@gmail.com.
