GRAHAM COUNTY – To help protect animals from rabies, the Graham County Health Department has announced a drive-through rabies clinic on Saturday, May 3.
The clinic, sponsored by Desert Cross Veterinary Clinic, will be mobile and placed at various spots throughout the county for the day.
The clinic will open in Fort Thomas at Fort Thomas High School, 15502 U.S. Highway 70, and run from 7 to 8 a.m.
The clinic then goes to Pima and will be at the Pima Swimming Pool parking lot, 125 E. 300 South, from 9 to 11 a.m.
Afterward, the clinic will be in Thatcher at H&S Feed Tack & Western Wear, 3030 W. Main St., from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The last stop will be the Graham County Fairgrounds, 527 Armory Rd., from 2 to 4:30 p.m.
Rabies shots are $20 per animal. They are available for dogs, cats, horses, cows, sheep, and goats. This is a drive-through event, so keep all animals in vehicles and trailers.
