GLOBE – Gila County, the heart of Arizona, is gearing up for an adrenaline-packed weekend as the Arizona High School Rodeo Association rides into town March 14–15.
Hosted in Globe, the two-day event will take place at the Gila County Fairgrounds, showcasing the grit, talent, and determination of the state’s high school rodeo athletes.

From thundering hooves to lightning-fast turns, spectators can expect nonstop action in classic rodeo events, including bull riding, barrel racing, team roping, and more. These young competitors aren’t just chasing buckles—they’re building discipline, confidence, and a lifelong connection to Arizona’s western heritage.
Families, fans, and first-time rodeo-goers alike are invited to experience the excitement at the fairgrounds, 900 E. Fairgrounds Rd., in Globe. Admission details and event schedules will be announced closer to the rodeo, but one thing is certain: when the chutes open, Globe will be the place to be.
Saddle up and don’t miss a weekend where tradition meets heart-pounding competition.
