GRAHAM COUNTY – The Graham County Sheriff’s Office would like to make the public aware of a re-occurring fraud taking place in the valley. A caller identifying themselves as a member of the Graham Sheriff’s Office is claiming there is a current arrest warrant for the person for failure to appear for jury duty. The caller is telling the person if they pay money by Bitcoin or other means and send it to a location the warrant will be removed from the system.

This is not the Sheriff’s Office nor any other law enforcement agency. No agency would ask for payment over the phone or in this manner. If this happens hang up and report the call to the Sheriff’s Office or your local law enforcement agency.
