Apparently, the disclosed fraud going on in Minnesota is only a sampling of similar scams currently thriving in other states and communities.
Equally amazing is how these criminal acts were permitted to exist for years without being discovered by the very government agencies responsible for monitoring their compliance with various federal rules and procedures.
Someone, somewhere, somehow, in some government department had to have “been in” on the deal for it to have succeeded for so long.
This whole affair smells from top to bottom, and a thorough cleansing by the Department of Justice is needed to restore the public’s confidence.
Especially, since April 15 is only a few months away, and many folks are already questioning the validity of their taxes being unlawfully siphoned by multiple schemes and ridiculous government-sponsored programs.
Which, in part, is responsible for our $38 trillion debt.
At least, that’s how it seems to me.
