THATCHER – The Eastern Arizona College (EAC) Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is launching a free, three-part training series this February to empower local entrepreneurs and small business owners with practical skills for using Square’s tools effectively.

Titled the Square Training Series, the program—also promoted as “Square Made Simple”—focuses on helping participants boost sales, streamline daily operations, and support business growth through Square’s point-of-sale, payment, and e-commerce features. The series is designed progressively, with each 90-minute session building on the previous one to build confidence and expertise step by step.

The hybrid format allows attendees to join in person at Eastern Arizona College’s Academic Programs Building, Room 118 (Thatcher, AZ), or participate virtually via Zoom, broadening access for business owners throughout the region, including Graham, Greenlee, and Gila counties.

The schedule includes:

The training is offered at no cost, thanks to the EAC SBDC’s mission to provide free resources and counseling to support local entrepreneurs and small businesses.

Registration is open for each session (or the full series) through the Arizona SBDC network and EAC channels. Interested participants can sign up via the provided links or check the EAC SBDC’s upcoming events page for details.

This series comes at a timely moment as more small businesses seek efficient, affordable digital payment and online sales solutions to compete and thrive. Space is limited for in-person attendance, so early registration is encouraged.

For more information or to register, visit the EAC SBDC website or the Arizona SBDC events portal. The EAC SBDC invites community members, business networks, and supporters to help spread the word about this valuable opportunity for regional entrepreneurs.
