THATCHER —To better support students during the first week of the fall semester, Eastern Arizona College (EAC) will extend its Student Services Building hours to 6 p.m. from Monday, Aug. 18, through Thursday, Aug. 21.

These extended hours are designed to assist students with registration, academic advising, tuition payment, and other beginning-of-semester needs.

“We know the start of a new semester can be a hectic time for students and their families,” said Erik Lehmann, EAC’s director of enrollment management. “That’s why we’re expanding our hours and streamlining enrollment support to help everyone get off to a great start.”

With classes beginning August 18, EAC is also reminding prospective students that it’s not too late to enroll. Students can get started with just four steps:

  1. Apply for admission at www.eac.edu.
  2. Explore payment options, including FAFSA, scholarships, and tuition waivers for Arizona residents age 55+.
  3. Register for classes online or with help from an academic advisor.
  4. Finalize payments and prepare to start strong.

“We want students to know we’re here to help — whether they’re brand-new to college or coming back after years away,” Lehmann added. “At EAC, we don’t just enroll students — we welcome them into a community.”
