Don’t delay, cast your vote today

Deadline to request an early ballot is Friday, Oct. 25

One reason to vote early? The ballot has 13 Questions!

In addition to your choices for United States president, senator, and congress – and local representatives- – Arizona’s general election ballot has 13 questions asking voters to decide about abortion, immigration law enforcement, and how future state elections will be conducted.

Have you received your early ballot, or have you requested one? If not, be aware that Friday, Oct. 25 is the deadline to request an early ballot – and if you’d prefer not to have to make those weighty decisions while standing in line at the polls on election day, request your early ballot today and you can review the candidates and ballot questions at your convenience and at home. Once your ballot has been filled, either return it by mail or in person at the County Recorder’s Office. These 13 ballot propositions add both length and complexity to this year’s ballot.

Voters should be aware that the initiative which starts with the number 2 means that propositions were put on the ballot by voters via signature gathering. Those that begin with the number 3 were put on the ballot by the State Legislature.

Measures that start with 1 are constitutional amendments and may have been referred to the ballot by either voters or the Legislature; local initiatives start with a 4.
