ARIZONA – The Arizona Game and Fish Department is launching a new Arizona Outdoors Tucson & Southeast Arizona Facebook group, and we’d like to invite you to be a founding member! Our goal for this group is to create a home for all things outdoors in Arizona’s Tucson and surrounding areas. You’ve been chosen because you have unique insights, experiences and tips that Tucson communities will appreciate. As a founding member, we encourage you to be a champion for the group and model the engagement we’d like to see from other members. Here are a few ideas:
- Post about your experiences outdoors in Tucson.
- Share information from your organization, related to the outdoors.
- Share photos and videos of wildlife, landscapes or people recreating.
- Leave encouraging comments on posts that other people share.
- Share tips and tricks for your favorite outdoor activities.
- Ask for advice about your next outdoor adventure.
- Invite your Facebook friends to join the group.
- Tell people in your community about the group, and encourage them to participate!
What you’ll need to do: Mark your calendar! We are planning to launch the group on Oct. 1, 2025. In order to get a founding member badge, you’ll need to join the group and post, comment or share within the first three days of the group’s creation. Keep an eye out for another email from us. We will send you a link on Oct. 1 as soon as the group has been created, so you can get started! In the meantime, feel free to reach out to me with any questions or ideas.
