PIMA – Law enforcement is looking for an alleged child predator who reportedly cut his ankle monitor and absconded from justice.
On Monday, Randall (Randy) Todd Arrington, 61, of Pima, was scheduled for a final settlement conference hearing in Maricopa County Superior Court before his trial on child sex charges. The charges relate to the abuse he allegedly perpetrated on his victim between the ages of 5 – 13.
Arrington never made his hearing, however, and his ankle monitor reportedly last showed him at “Top of the World” between Superior and Miami off Highway 60.
According to online court records, Arrington was living in Queen Creek when he was charged with 20 counts of sexual conduct with a minor, 8 counts of sexual abuse, and 2 counts of public sexual indecency.
Arrington was free on a $250,000 bond and had reportedly moved back to Pima to a residence off 140 South. According to a neighbor’s comments to local police, Arrington was last seen hooking up his vehicle to a camp trailer and allegedly said he was going camping.
Since he absconded, a warrant for his arrest was issued with a reportedly new $750,000 bond and U.S. Marshals are investigating the case.
