SAN CARLOS — A San Carlos woman faces a laundry list of felony and misdemeanor charges after allegedly striking a pedestrian and crashing a pickup truck directly into a local home over the weekend.
The San Carlos Apache Police Department confirmed the arrest of 32-year-old Ashley Nosie following an intense, multi-layered investigation into the violent sequence of events that unfolded on Saturday evening, July 11, 2026.
The Initial Incident and Crash
According to police reports, the incident began on White Mountain Avenue when Nosie was allegedly involved in a vehicle-related altercation. Investigators determined that Nosie struck a pedestrian with her vehicle and immediately fled the area. The pedestrian sustained serious injuries during the hit-and-run.
Moments later, the situation escalated further. While fleeing, Nosie’s pickup truck veered off the roadway on White Mountain Avenue, careening directly into a nearby residence.
The impact caused significant structural damage to the home and resulted in multiple injuries. An occupant inside the residence suffered severe injuries and had to be transported to a hospital for advanced medical care. Nosie and a passenger in her truck also sustained injuries in the crash.
Miraculously, several children who were inside the home at the time of the collision escaped without physical injury.
Severe Charges Filed

Following an initial hospital clearance and a thorough review by the Criminal Investigations Division, Nosie was taken into custody. She faces a combined total of dozens of charges reflecting the severity of the incident and the number of lives put at risk:
- Aggravated Assault (6 counts)
- Endangerment (15 counts)
- Endangering the Welfare of a Minor (7 counts)
- Assault & Battery (5 counts each)
- Threatening (4 counts)
- Aggravated DUI
- Aggravated Criminal Damage
- Disorderly Conduct
- Fleeing the Scene of an Accident
Ongoing Investigation
The San Carlos Apache Police Department stated that the case remains an active investigation under the direction of the Criminal Investigations Division. In a public release, department officials emphasized their ongoing commitment to protecting the local community.
As with all criminal cases, Nosie is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
