THATCHER — High school musicians from across Arizona and the Southwest are invited to participate in Eastern Arizona College’s inaugural Summer Music Camp July 6-10 on the Thatcher campus.

The weeklong camp is designed for students entering grades 9-12 during the 2026-27 school year and offers string, brass, woodwind, and percussion musicians an opportunity to strengthen their skills through rehearsals, sectionals, and ensemble performances.

Participants will spend the week working alongside experienced music educators and fellow student musicians while building friendships and developing their musical abilities in a collaborative environment focused on learning, performance, and community.

Students may attend as commuters or as residential campers. Residential participants will stay in EA residence halls and receive meals throughout the week, providing an opportunity to experience college life while connecting with fellow musicians from throughout the region.

The camp will conclude with a free public concert at 4 p.m. Friday, July 10, in the Fine Arts Auditorium.

Registration options include commuter enrollment, commuter enrollment with meals, and residential enrollment with housing and meals included. The deadline for dorm registration is June 30.
