EA Volleyball camps offer opportunities for athletes of all ages

THATCHER, Ariz. –Athletes from across the region are invited to develop their volleyball skills this summer through a series of camps hosted by Eastern Arizona College’s volleyball program.

Designed for players from elementary school through high school, the 2026 EA Volleyball Camps provide age-appropriate instruction focused on skill development, fundamentals, teamwork, and on-court confidence.

The camps will be held at EA’s Guitteau Gymnasium and led by the college’s volleyball coaching staff.

The Elementary Camp for students in grades K-5 will take place July 6-8. Camp sessions will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day. Registration is $60 per participant.

The Junior High Camp for students in grades 6-8 will also be held July 6-8. Sessions are scheduled from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. and 2 to 4 p.m. each day. Registration is $90 per participant.

High school athletes entering grades 9-12 may participate in the High School Camp July 13-16. The camp includes both commuter and residential options. Commuter registration is $100, while residential registration is $270.

Throughout the camps, participants will receive instruction in serving, passing, setting, hitting, blocking, defensive techniques, and overall game strategy. Athletes will have opportunities to improve individual skills while learning the value of teamwork, communication, and sportsmanship.

The high school residential camp provides participants with an opportunity to experience college life while training alongside fellow athletes. Resident campers will stay in Wesley Taylor Dorms under supervision throughout the camp.
