PERIDOT – The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers traveling on US 70, east of Peridot, to plan for the following lane restrictions as work continues on a passing lane project:

  • Alternating east- and westbound restrictions on U.S. Highway 70 between mileposts 274 and 276 are planned daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, March 16, through Friday, March 27.
    • Flaggers will direct drivers through the work zone.
    • The speed limit will be reduced to 25 mph in the work zone.

Motorists should allow extra travel time, use caution, be prepared to slow down and merge safely when approaching and traveling through all work zones.

Schedules are subject to change due to weather and other unforeseen circumstances.
