“We’ll replace the frigidity of rugged individualism with the warmth of collectivism,”
New York City Mayor Zohran Mandani, 34, advising the crowd during his inauguration speech on Jan. 1, 2026
We’ve been warned. At least he’s upfront about his political ideologies and how he intends to govern the largest city in the United States.
Zohran’s a bonafied Muslim-Democrat-Socialist — he unabashedly tells us so. He also swore allegiance to the city and country while placing his left hand upon a copy of the Quran, the holy book of Islam, as fellow socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) administered the oath of office.
The camel’s nose is now under the NYC tent.
This is the first time in the history of New York City that an incoming mayor has performed his solemn official declaration to administer the affairs of the city by the guiding principles contained within the Muslim sacred text.
Given NYC has large populations of Jews, Christians, and other non-Islamic residents, it’s going to be interesting to see how these various segments of society — via Mandani’s guidance — will mesh without further fracturing or inciting conflicting religious dogmas.
Particularly, since Islam advocates its preeminence over all other faiths and beliefs. Their “Call to Prayer” reaffirms this view five times a day.
Mr. Mandani has only been in office a week, and already there’s something called “Islamic Heritage Month in NYC.”
On Jan 2, 2026, New York Governor Kathy Hochul issued a proclamation declaring “New York City has embraced Islamic Heritage Month with a unique initiative to illustrate landmarks in green. This event, held in observance of January, aims to celebrate the heritage and culture of Muslim Americans. The illumination of landmarks like One World Trade Center and the Empire State Plaza serves as a visual representation of the significant contributions to inclusivity and diversity, ensuring that the contributions of Muslim Americans are recognized and celebrated.”
14 other New York landmarks, including Niagara Falls, will be illuminated in green to signify “the significant contributions of Muslim Americans.”
What a load of pure, unfiltered, 100% crap. Wasn’t it the followers of the Islamic faith that crashed a couple of hijacked commercial airliners into the Twin Towers in New York City, killing nearly 3,000 citizens 25 years ago?
I don’t believe it was Catholics, Baptists, Methodists, Jews, Episcopalians, Mormons, Nazarenes, Pentecostals, Lutherans, Presbyterians, Buddhists, or Hindus piloting the planes. It was Muslims
Now, NYC is painting the town green in celebration of Muslim heritage? The Democrat Party-controlled Blue State is actually rubbing it in your face and smiling while doing it!
Again, we’ve been warned what’s coming. The mayor and governor are telling us straight up what to expect, whether we like it or not.
Islam and Sharia Law are taking root in American soil.
Zohran’s inauguration speech was a lengthy list of what’s gone wrong in New York City and how he intends to correct the economic, social, political, and legal discrepancies currently residing within the five boroughs.
He reminded the crowd attending the ceremony that “I was elected as a Democratic Socialist, and I will govern as a Democratic Socialist” — just in case there was any doubt about what his plans are.
He doesn’t shy away from advocating for strengthening the role of government as a tool to accomplish his vision: “To those who insist that the era of big government is over, hear me when I say this—no longer will City Hall hesitate to use its power to improve New Yorkers’ lives.”
That brash comment can mean many things to many people, depending upon how they interpret his pep talk and his “power to improve” pledge.
To me, it sounds like he’s gearing up to advance government enforcement in a manner he sees fit to accomplish his agenda.
Seems more than ironic that another socialist, Venezuelan strongman, Nicolas Maduro, and his wife are currently sitting in a New York City jail awaiting prosecution and trial on a variety of federal charges.
Maybe Mandani can drop by and see Nicolas during visiting hours — to get an idea of what might be in his future if he gets too carried away with his Muslim-Democrat-Socialist malarkey.
After all, not everyone is enamored with his political opinions or Islamic theology, regardless of whether they’re promoted as the superior path to social tranquility, everlasting life, or early martyrdom.
For a guy who’s really never accomplished much, other than live the life of a semi-wealthy kid born in Africa who managed to make it to the United States and, through his gift of oratory, got elected as mayor of New York City, it is more a reflection of the gullibility of NYC’s voters than Mandani’s actual political persuasiveness.
He throws a good sales pitch, tells people what they want to hear, and promises them the wonders of socialism, all the while he enjoys the benefits and comforts of capitalism and a free market economy.
Unfortunately, a lot of folks fall for this spiel every time until finally realizing they’ve been had by the oldest con in the book — “Trust me, I’ll never lie to you. Together, we’ll reach nirvana.”
Which, of course, they never do. The “warmth of collectivism” has ruined all thoughts of perfect blessedness.
Except for the tricksters who have moved on to the next fraudulent gig!
