MORENCI – The Jasmine Aguinaga-coached Wildcats host the Willcox Cowgirls for a region pairing on Tuesday, Oct. 7. Three matches are on tap, freshmen at 4 p.m., junior varsity at 5 p.m., and varsity at 6 p.m.
The Wildcats travel to Santa Rita for a region pairing on Thursday, Oct. 9, and head to the 2-day Florence tourney on Friday, Oct. 10.
Willcox (7-4 seeding, 5.6018 rating, 2-1, 2A South Region) is ranked No. 16, Santa Rita (0-11, minus 24.2550, 0-2, 2A South Region) No. 52, and Morenci (3-6, minus 3.7427, 1-1, 2A South Region) No. 33.
The Ruthie Butler-coached Pima Roughriders visit Gilbert Classical on Friday, Oct. 10. Pima (6-4 seeding, 1.7163 rating, 2-1 2A East Region) is ranked No. 24, while Gilbert Classical (8-3, 5.0678, 2-0) is No. 18. The first serve is 6 p.m.
