THATCHER — Eastern Arizona College’s music department will host a free guest vocal recital featuring Dr. Megan Stapleton of Bob Jones University on Monday, Oct. 6, 2025, at 7 p.m., in the Activities Center – Lee Little Theater.
Praised as “an artist of clarity, power, and much expressivity” (Culture Map), Stapleton has been recognized for her versatility across classical, musical theater, and jazz. She most recently made her Lincoln Center debut in the New York City premiere of Dan Forrest’s Creation and has also appeared with the Boston Early Music Festival, Ars Lyrica, Houston Grand Opera, and the Galveston Symphony Orchestra.
Stapleton currently serves as assistant professor of voice studies at Bob Jones University, where she teaches applied voice, opera, and musical theater workshops, vocal literature, and pedagogy.
