FORT THOMAS — The Ft. Thomas Fire District is proud to announce the award of grant funds from The United Way of Graham and Greenlee Counties ($50,,000) and AgWest Farm Credit of Safford ($4,500) to purchase 15 new radio communication devices for the department.
This funding allows the district to upgrade its communication equipment from outdated analog radios to a modern digital system, greatly enhancing reliability and safety during emergency response.
“The support of United Way of Graham County and AgWestFarm Credit makes a real difference in our ability to serve,” said Fire Chief McCoy Hawkins, “This new digital system ensures our firefighters can stay connected in the field, respond more efficiently, and keep our community safer.”
