GOLD CANYON – The 38th annual Arizona Renaissance Festival is calling all aspiring heroes, villains, knights, and fantasy creatures to audition for its 2026 season, set to run from January to March. Auditions will be held at Fairhaven Village on the festival grounds, located at 12601 E. U.S. Highway 60, just seven miles east of Apache Junction, on Aug. 30 from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Aug. 31 from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The festival invites participants to join its vibrant reimagination of a 16th-century European village, offering roles ranging from townsfolk, pirates, and poets to stage managers, clergy, and mythical figures. Beyond the iconic costumed characters that roam the lanes, the festival also offers hourly employment and volunteer opportunities across various departments, ensuring a place for everyone in Fairhaven Village.
This immersive experience breaks down traditional stage barriers, encouraging interaction between characters and patrons to create unforgettable memories. Whether you’re drawn to performing or supporting behind the scenes, the festival welcomes all to contribute to its lively, interactive world.
