THATCHER – Eastern Arizona College’s Visiting Writers Series will feature acclaimed guitarist Greg Koch and the Koch-Marshall Trio in a special performance on Friday, March 14, at 7 p.m. in the Lee Little Theater. The event is free and open to the public.

Koch, often described as “the most famous unknown guitar player in the world,” is widely recognized for his innovative sound and technical mastery. With an extensive list of accomplishments, he has been praised for his creativity and dynamic performances.

The Koch-Marshall Trio, featuring Koch on guitar, his son Dylan Koch on drums, and Toby Lee Marshall on Hammond organ, delivers a powerful blend of blues, rock, and jazz. Their electrifying performances have earned them a dedicated following worldwide.

Ken Raines, EAC English professor and coordinator of the Visiting Writers Series, is delighted to bring Greg back after his well-attended solo visit last year.

Gregs performance last year was phenomenal, and the audience response was incredible,” Raines said. “With the addition of the other members of the Koch-Marshall Trio, were expecting an even more dynamic evening filled with extraordinary musicianship and energy.

The event will take place at Eastern Arizona College, 1020 N. College Ave., Thatcher, Arizona 85552.
