Top current NFL players from Arizona

Arizona is home to NFL Hall of Famers, Havard-educated quarterbacks, and monster defense players. Whether these football stars are from Tucson, Scottsdale, or Phoenix, there are plenty of NFL talents to fill the Grand Canyon in Arizona.

Here are the top three current NFL players from the Copper State that American football fans should keep an eye on this year.

Nick Folk – Tennessee Titans

Ex-Wildcats kicker Nick Folk has built an impressive NFL career based on consistent performance. The veteran kicker has made 83.8% of his kicks over the last 16 NFL seasons and was almost perfect during his debut season for the Tennessee Titans last year. The Titans re-signed Folk at the end of the season and was crowned as the player of the week in the AFC Special Teams in week 2 following his 41-yard field goal against the Chargers.

Folk will need to make several adjustments following a coaching change, but you can expect him to be among the key performers in the 2024/2025 NFL season. That makes the veteran kicker among the key players from Arizona to watch in the Titans squad and you can read the Betvictor review to understand how you can bet on their NFL games.

Demetrius Flanningan-Fowles – San Fransisco 49ers

While Demetrius Flanningan-Fowles is far from being a top performer in San Francisco, the 28-year-old star linebacker has recorded an impressive NFL career. The Tucson native played for the Wildcats for four seasons, before joining the 49ers in 2019.

Demetrius finished his college career with 243 tackles, three forced fumbles, and six interceptions in 50 matches. The talented linebacker has played multiple times in special teams over his last four seasons with San Francisco and is expected to continue adding depth to the team this season.

Jordan Morgan

Selected by the Green Bay Packers during the 2024 NFL Draft, Jordan Morgan ranks as the first offensive lineman from Arizona picked in the first round since John Fina in 1992. Morgan played 41 games for Arizona with 37 starts at the left tackle across five seasons before joining the Packers.

Despite missing the Packers pre-season games because of his shoulder injury, Morgan has fully recovered and is generating a lot of excitement ahead of his NFL debut. The rookie offensive linesman is currently sitting being Sean Rhyan in depth, but he is expected to be a key cog in Green Bay’s offensive line this season.

Morgan ranks as a potential starter at the Packers right guard but will face competition from Sean Rhyan. However, NFL analysts and fans will be closely monitoring how Jordan Morgan performs and whether he will secure a starting role next season.
