SILVER CITY, N.M. — Silver City Community Theatre in collaboration with Starlight Theatre is thrilled to announce the upcoming production of “Eleemosynary” by Lee Blessing, a richly-themed theatrical experience that promises to captivate audiences with its celebration of women’s stories across three generations. This compelling production is set to take the stage at Starlight Theatre from Oct. 31 to Nov. 14, 2024.
Eleemosynary touches on topical themes such as eccentricity, autonomy, freedom, reconciliation, youth, and resurrection as they relate to keeping memories alive. Directed by Krista Hibbard, one of Playbill’s 20 powerhouse women directors, this play promises to be the topic of conversation for months to come.
Eleemosynary will be staged at the Starlight Theatre at 1915 Gold St. in Silver City, New Mexico.
All shows will be at 4 p.m. Dates are Oct. 31, with optional dinner and talk back with the director; Nov. 2-3; Nov 6-7; Nov. 9-10; and Nov. 13-14.
