GILA COUNTY – Motorists on U.S. Highway 60 between Miami and Superior will encounter lane closures and delays Monday, July 26, for guardrail replacement near the Pinto Creek Bridge.

Alternating lane closures with flaggers are scheduled from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

While delays will generally be limited to 15 minutes, wait times of up to 30 minutes are possible during heavy travel times.

The guardrail repairs are necessary as a result of damage caused by the Telegraph Fire last month.

Motorists should proceed with caution, slow down, watch for equipment, and follow flaggers and law enforcement directions.
